What he found was the unique combination of Mohair and Nylon produced a skin that would grip the steepest skin tracks, but also had great glide on those long, flat approaches that you have to endure and cross for miles on end before reaching the bottom of a big peak objective. The end result was skin that could do it all- grip and glide in powder, soft snow, hardpack, windblown and even avalanche debris. The skin is also light, tipping the scales at 570 grams per pair, and at a 104 width, that’s a lightweight package.
